Well Somebody Cares About The High Gas Prices
Well I tell you if these prices stay this high than I guess people won't spend their money in the retail stores. Which are already reporting lost in the first quarters in the business section of the new paper. I guess that the Gas will stay high until the summer is over. That when they come down a little so the retailer can make some money. Can anybody see this , it happen every year!!!

Well somebody dose care there word around the Net is not to buy GAS on Tuesday May 15, 2007. Theses Companies are making Billion of Dollars what more do their want. Evertime the prices go up I heard something about doing an investigation of these companies. Who's doing these investigation and what are the results. I read in the New Paper that one gas station owner was give people a discount on Gas which was maybe .03 or.04 cents. Do you know that the State order him to stop give the discount to his customers because it was to good how do you like that. Know who you vote for these poeple making the laws are not in tunes with what you want! I also want to know who's business is it the owner or the State sounds to like something that this country has fought against !!!!! Beware what going on in our country. To much control of what you can do with your life!!!

I think it crazy that these prices are this high , don't they have enough Money!!! In some part of the USA the gas prices are about $4.00 a gallon. Jobs Cut's
Circuit City cut about 3,400 jobs across the board. Here is the kicker. One person that lost his job was making about $12.50 an hour. Circuit City Brass said that he was making to much money so he got a pink slip. They want to put a person in his spot that makes about $10.50 an hour. This person also has work for the company for about ten years.
The company related to these people that got pink slips, they could re-apply for these job in about ten weeks at a lesser rate. My question is what up with these company? They can do anything that they want to their employee and think that it OK. We are the ones that are just living from check to check trying to pay our bills and live our life, but they won't let that happen. I don't know if they had any Unions to talk up for them or not but it is need for companies like this.

New drug approved forType 2 diabetes
Diabetics gained a new way of controlling their blood sugar levels Tuesday with federal approval of a novel pill for Type 2 dibetes, which affects about 20 million Americans. The Food and Drug administration said it approved Januvia, which enhances the body's own ability to lower blood sugat levels, after clinical trials showing the new pill works just as well as older diabetes drugs, but with fewer side effects like weight gain. The drug is made by Merck and Co. Inc. Merck is expected to charge $4.86 for the once-daily tablet, a price tag that may limit its use. Older diabetes drugs can cost 50 cents a day. Januvia, also know as sitagliptin phospahate, works with a one-two punch: It increases levels of a hormone that triggers the pancreas to produce more insulin to process blood sugar while simultaneously signaling the liver to quit making glucose.

Sleep Loss Affects the Immune System
Sleep loss affects the immune system's inflammatory response and might contribute to conditions ranging from heart disease and disbetes to arthritis, new research has found. In studies published Monday in the Archives of Internal Medicine, two scientific teams showed the interaction between disrupted sleep and the performance of the immune system. Inflammatory occurs when the immune system rushes infection-fighting white blood cells that promote healing. But a variety of conditions can cause the immune system to respond when it's not warranted, causing damage to healthy tissue and cells. Losing even night hurts! The new studies add to understanding about sleeps role in modifying the response of immune cells. One team UCLA, did a lab study that looked at 30 healthy *****s, comparing blood and DNA samples taken after three nights of uninterrupted sleep and after a fourth night when the subject were kept awake most of the time. The results showed that white blood cells produced significantly greater amounts of two disease-fighting proteins after a night of sleep loss. The study shows that even a modest loss of sleep for a single night increases inflammation, which is a key factor for the onset of cardiovascular disease and autoimmune disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis," said lead author Dr. Michael Irwin. In the other sturdy, University of Chicago researchers looked at the sleep habits and quality of sleep among 161 black patients being treated for type 21, insulin-resistant, diabetes. Sleep and Health!! They found that, on average, the patients were getting about six hours of sleep a night, with only 6 percent getting eight hours, and most had poor control of their blood sugar. "There's an underniable relationship between sleep and health," said Dr. Phyllis Zee, a professor of neurology and director of the sleep disorders center at Northwestern University and co-author of an editorial in the journal that urged doctors to routinely evaluates habits of patients. Ford Offering buyouts to all U.S. hourly workers
Ford Motor Co. will offer buyout and early retirement plans to all of its hourly U.S. employee more than 75,000 of them as part of a broad restructing plan aimed at cutting its cost in light of slumping sale.
Ford , the nation's second biggest automaker confirmed the plan Thursday after union officials disclosed the company would make the buyout offer of up to $140,000 each to workers. The Chigago assembly plant on the Far South Side employs 2,500 hourly workers. Local union officials were not available for comment.
The automakers has about 82,000 workers represented by the United Auto Workers at the end of last year, but about 6,500 have taken previous buyout and early retirement offers made mainly at plants schedule for closure, the company said. Just a few extra pounds at age 50 increases death risk 20-40%: study
Americans who Carry just a few extra pounds at age 50 raise their risk of dying 20 to 40 percent compared with those who are at the optimal weight, a study says. The finding, gathered over 10 years, come from a study of more than 500,000 member of the AARP, the organization for older Americans. The increased risk was most pronounced among overweight people who didn't smoke, eliminating another major risk factor, the researchers said. The risk from carrying 10 to 20 extra pounds has been debated for years In medical circles. While no one disputes the fact that the obese are more likely to develop diabetes, heart disease and cancer, the danger from a few pounds that gradually creep on with age has been less clear, researchers said. "We know that being obese causes all sorts of health risks to increase," said Lawrence Cheskin, director of the Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center in Baltimore. "What is hard to demonstrate is that for people who are not extremely heavy, there is a risk of actual death". The new study shows the risk, said Cheskin, a physician who wasn't involved in the research. The study, which appears in the Aug. 24 New England Journal of Medicine, was conducted by the National Cancer Insitute, the National Institutes of Health and the AARP all based in Washington. About 136.5 million Americans age 20 or older were classified as overweight or obese in 2004, according to the American Heart Association. U.S. health officials have expressed concren that the growing number of overweight or obese Americans will place extra strain on the medical system. Gannett News Service

Can You Afford To Get Sick
Hi Briley here and I want to share with something that happen to me . While working my nine to five I started to having this back pain but, I continue to working. Later I found out the I need to have a operation on my back. OK, so I check into the hospital had my operation and everything went well. Then I found out that I had cancer in my Bone Marrow. Which means that I would need a Stem Cell Transplant. According to my Doctor if, I would have never has the back operation they would have never seen the cancer in my bone marrow until it started to spread. So now I need treatment for the cancer in my bone marrow. This also cause me to be off work for seven mouths. Now my Insurances only offer short term disability in my case that only lasted for 26 weeks. Here's the kicker you only get a third of what you make every two weeks. The two weeks are also included in the 26 weeks, which means their pay you for about six months. After that you are out of luck!!!. This is my insurance. What I am suggesting to you is that you check out your insurance and see what your benefits are if you can't work how muck their pay you and for how long.
Now mind you my back operation cost some were around $100,000 and if I have the Stem Cell Transplant it's going to cost around $500,000. Now do you thing that the Insurance company want to pay for these two transaction. No I think not that the very reason that I have to return to work. So the insurance can pay for my first operation. I will deal with the Stem Cell Transplant later on down the roads.
All I am saying is check out your insurance and see what they offer you when you can't work for an long period of time and make sure that you are covered!

Living from Pay Check To Pay Check
When I first started in this business my goal was to be Debit free. I didn't realize that I would need this business to help maintain my lifestyle after , I had to have a Back operations. I been off work for at least seven months.
My disability Check doesn't cover my Bill at all. I also have a hard time getting the check on time to pay my bill due mistakes made with the data possessing etc. You know that old saying that you are maybe two checks from being homeless is as true as the saying.
Yes my Internet business is a helping me to maintain my life style. I am not yet an Internet million, but working hard to get there. Can you afford to get sick? I mean have you thought about what you will do if you have to take off from work for a long period of time where will your income come from. How will you maintain your life style without your work check. Something to think about! Sure you might have saving now but what happen if you have to use it before you want too...

Living With Diabetes
What is diabete? Diabetes is a disease which affects sugar metabolism. It occurs because one of your organs, the pancreas, is not working properly. When food is digested in your stomach, it is broken down into glucose (A form of sugar). The glucose travels in the bloodstream to the cell of your body, Providing them with energy.
The pancreas makes insulin. Insulin is a hormone that helps glucose and other nutrients enter the cells. When the pancreas dose not produce enough insulin your cells can't get the glucose they need. The glucose stays in your bloodstream instead of going into the cells. That is why your blood glucose levels are high and, as a side effect of this, you end up feeling tired.
You should go over the following health concerns with your doctor or diabetes educator.
Meal Plan:
Keep track of how many calories you are eating each day, and how well you are sticking to your agreed upon meal plan.
Blood Sugar Testing:
Review how often you are testing your blood glucose, and at what times of the day.
Safety Check on (Blood Glucose) Meter:
Your blood glucose meter should be checked to make sure your self testing results are accurate. This involves cleaning the meter and testing with a control solution.
Foot Care:
Essentials of foot care involve not smoking wearing loose-fitting shoes. Clipping toenails properly, and self-examination (using a mirror if necessary).

An Unemployed Graduate
An unemployed graduate woke up onemorning and checked his pocket. All he had left was $10. He decided to
use it to buy food and then wait for death as he was too proud to go
begging.
He was frustrated as he could find no job, and nobody was ready to
help
him.
He bought food and as he sat down to eat, an old man and two little
children came along and asked him to help them with food as they had
not
eaten for almost a week. He looked at them. They were so lean that he
could see their bones coming out. Their eyes had gone into the socket.
With the last bit of compassion he had, he gave them the food. The old
man and children prayed that God would bless and prosper him and then
gave him a very old coin.
The young graduate said to them "you need the prayer more than I do".
With no money, no job, no food, the young graduate went under the
bridge
to rest and wait for death. As he was about to sleep, he saw an old
newspaper on the ground. He picked it up, and suddenly he saw an
advertisement for people with old coins to come to a certain address.
He decided to go there with the old coin the old man gave him. On
getting to the place, he gave the proprietor the coin. The proprietor
screamed, brought out a big book and showed the young graduate a
photograph. This same old coin was worth 3 million dollars. The young
graduate was overjoyed as the proprietor gave him a bank draft for 3
million dollars within an hour. He collected the Bank Draft and went
in
search of the old man and little children.
By the time he got to where he left them eating, they had gone. He
asked
the owner of the canteen if he knew them. He said no but they left a
note for you. He quickly opened the note thinking it would lead him to
find them.
This is what the note said: "You gave us your all and we have rewarded
